Wystawa fotograficzna „Polska teraz i wtedy” autorstwa dziennikarza fotograficznego Chrisa Niedenthala składa się z serii zdjęć obejmujących okres od lat 70. do współczesności.

Od powstania ruchu Solidarności w Gdańsku, późniejszego upadku reżimu komunistycznego, przystąpienia Polski do Unii Europejskiej, po niedawne protesty obywatelskie przeciwko obecnemu prawicowemu rządowi. Autor zdjęć będzie obecny w czasie otwarcia wystawy w piątek 11 października.

[NED] "Poland Now and Then", van de fotojournalist Chris Niedenthal, bestaat uit een reeks foto's die de periode van de jaren zeventig tot heden bestrijken. Van de opkomst van de Solidariteitsbeweging in Gdańsk, de daaropvolgende val van het communistische regime, de toetreding van Polen tot de Europese Unie, tot de recentere burgerprotesten tegen de huidige rechtse regering. Chris zal aanwezig zijn bij de opening op vrijdag 11 oktober 2019 van 17:30 tot 19:30 uur in Gallery WM

[ENG] “Poland Now and Then”, by seminal photo-journalist Chris Niedenthal, comprises a series of photographs that spans the period from the 1970's through to the present day. From the rise of the Solidarity movement in Gdańsk, the subsequent fall of the Communist regime, Poland's accession to the European Union, to the more recent civic protests against the current right-wing government. Chris will be present at the opening on Friday 11th of October 2019 from 17:30 to 19:30 hrs at Gallery WM
